Anybody else in here doing video blogging? I just started up a video blog using youtube.com to handle the streams and blogger for posting. It's at www.jasonbuckley.com/video/vlog if anyone wants to check it out. I'd love to hear from other people who are vlogging on how they're doing it.

Re: Anyone Vlogging?
Sat, November 26, 2005 - 5:40 PMWow, thanks! It was really fun to do. We were on the street corner wrapping my friend up in cardboard and setting up the camera while all these people were driving by with the funniest looks on their faces. One guy even pulled over to ask what we were shooting and where it would be posted.
Did you catch A Guy Walks Into a Bar? It's the same actor and he's even funnier in that one. -

Re: Anyone Vlogging?
Sat, November 26, 2005 - 10:04 PMYeah, I took a peek at most of the videos. But I do like "The Czech's in the Mail" the best, and I think its the funniest. The little "for hire" video is a cool collage of your work and skills also.
Its good work and has given me some things to think about. -

Re: Anyone Vlogging?
Mon, November 28, 2005 - 12:17 PMVery cool - are you using enclosures to reference the flash video files in your RSS feeds? Any response as to how well it works with iTunes subscriptions?

Re: Anyone Vlogging?
Mon, November 28, 2005 - 12:40 PMThanks! I'm not sure how the RSS feed is handling it. I'm just copying code from YouTube to play them on the page. I have no idea how it's working with iTunes. I don't have an ipod so I've never used iTunes and don't know a whole lot about it. Can you subscribe to an RSS feed trhough that? -

Yeah - you can subscribe to a PodCast, which is nothing more than an RSS feed with "enclosures" that happen to be MP3 Audio Files. iTunes figures it out automatically. I'm guessing you can do the same with video, but I've never seen it done... -
