I'm thinking of moving my blog off TypePad to a webhost and use Word Press.
I'm wondering what others of you use. Have you had success with Word Press? Would you recommend it over TypePad (which is essentially Moveable Type)?
Let me know your thoughts and impressions.

WordPress can be a lot of work. How's your PHP?

WP really isn't al that difficult to set up -- my PHP skills are very limited and I was able to install it on my own with minimal fuss. I think the hardest thing was setting up the MySQL database; fortunately, my web host (Dreamhost) has a reasonably easy interface for it.
Some hosts will even auto-install WP for you. (Mine does, but that feature came after I already installed it myself.) Check out wordpress.org/hosting for recommended hosts.
My one complaint about WP is that it doesn't support multiple blogs on one installation out of the box. There are plug-ins available for that, but I think they're more complicated than they're worth.
