I've done this with blogger before - but I was wondering if any other blogs make it easy to do this... I would like to be able to incorporate my blog into my website. Blogger is great 'cause it's free and it's got free audio blogging. However... I am wondering if there is something which might be better (and something which I might feel less concerned if they "turn off" their service at some point. Categorization would be huge.
I've used wordpress before and liked that system, but it was not immediatley obvious how I could encorporate it into my own website.
Free is best as it's not a profit site.
Suggestions? Thank you!

Re: Best incorporatable blog
Tue, December 26, 2006 - 4:59 AMBoth Blogger and Wordpress allow you to re-write the template, but Blogger is probably easier because of the way their templates work. Wordpress requires knowledge of CSS to modify the templates of their hosted blogs.
There are lots of open source blog scripts around too, but like you said - they need webspace, which typically costs money. -

Re: Best incorporatable blog
Tue, December 26, 2006 - 11:52 PMoh! thanks for the reply - I actually posted that a while back and ended up finishing the whole site with Wordpress. I went with wordpress just because I wanted the full control over the material... for anyone who is curious how I incorporated it - it's here: www.markallen.net - haven't started much of the blogging yet.
